May (and the beginning of June) ended out our 2009-2010 school year with a flurry of activities.
Cal had a field trip to the zoo with his class and they had a great time.
Kate performed at the last PTA meeting of the year and got to play a musical instrument.
Cal moved into the Bear rank as a cub scout and they were in the Armed Services parade here in Floresville.
Kate and Cal both had an end of the school picnic/party for them having finished 5000 books for the whole school.
We finished up another great year with the Kangaroos and Coach Garcia!
Kate had her “birthday” at school and she decorated the cupcakes herself.
The kids both received awards at AWANA and Cal moved into Truth and Training – Kate is on her last year of Sparks.
We all got up early to wave and cheer on the Wounded Warriors from BAMC on their way to the coast for family fishing.
…and the Dallas family came to town and we got to spend a great evening with them at Goomba’s and Amy’s Ice Cream.
Mom had a business trip the last week of school and so missed many of the activities, but some other moms took a few pics for her – thank goodness!
My goodness – lots of craziness!
