Well, we had figured it out, but totally didn’t connect on the fact that Cathy was going to meet up with Clint in Corpus to visit his family over Memorial Day. Nobody ever claimed we were brain-surgeons! Anyway, we talked with her and decided to head down to Corpus for the day. We weren’t meeting them to eat until like 7:30 – so we took the kids to the Texas State Aquarium. They love the aquarium – it is a really nice one if you ever get the chance to visit. We are able to get in half-price with our San Antonio Zoo passes, so that does make it a bit better! Their very favorite part is petting the sting rays – I bet they stayed there an hour. Good thing I brought extra shirts for dinner!

We met Cathy and Clint at the Water Street Seafood Company - always a favorite. It was a VERY nice meal and everyone had a great time. On our way back, David decided that we really must all have Krispy Kremes – yep – 10:30 on a Sunday night – we are downing Krispy Kremes. Did I mention that school is still going on right? Thank goodness we had that Monday off!!
