The hustle and bustle of it all…

The end of school and all the wrap up before Christmas is just crazy!!!

Cal and Kate participated in our Church Children’s Musical of which I am the assistant director.  The kids had a lot of fun, we’ve been working on it since September.  The “Mystery of the Manger”.  We had the musical on the 14th of December.  Kate is really supposed to be in His Angels, but since I was working it was easier for her to come with me.  Cal had a small solo during “Hallelujah it came true!” and did a fantastic job.  I’ll try to post the video if I ever get to it.

Cal’s party was first on Thursday where they sang the ABC’s of Christmas (Cal was B for “the bells that rang out the baby’s birth” and Y for the “yuletide log that warms the hearth”.  They also sang Rudolph and Jingle Bell Rock.  Ms. Moczygemba had Happy Meals delivered for the party.  Cal got to leave with me when it was over.

Kate’s party was on Friday and SO CUTE!  Ms. Smith had them do “Christmas down on the Ranch”.  They performed “’twas the night before christmas on the ranch”.  Kate had a small line and performed it great! Went up to the mike and said it loud and clear!  She also danced with Mason during Jingle Bell Rock and was the self-proclaimed “best twirler”!  Their party followed and then Kate came home with me.

On Friday the kid’s went to the annual Pajama Party at the school and LOVED it as usual.  Then they went home and spent the night at the Shoemakers.  They along with Olivia and Cariz (some other little ones) made cookies with Kailey, Drew, Ryan and Tanley.  They spent the night and the next day over there and had a fabulous time!!!

On Sunday, Kate woke up with fever – yep strep throat.  Lovely.
